We do a lot of reading and we plan to list them before starting the long voyage. There are also children's books on board.

Games
We have a number of various board games such as Monopoly and Trivial, Domino, Tic Tac To,backgammon and off course playcards.A lot of time is spent just socialising and exploring ashore. It is common practice to meet the neighbours in the ports we berth which most of the times is very enjoyable. Last August we met two couples from Chile on board a Oceanis 473 and exchanged ideas about sailing in Chile. Armenistis may not be the proper yacht for Chilean waters but remains a project after we cross the Atlantic.
Preparing the boat for a long offshore passage resembles the building of a house, the difference is that if something goes wrong after you start your voyage you have to fix it while at sea.....the plumber or the electrician are not coming on the spot.
